1. The 360° Pittsburgh Double Lock
You do not snap these panels together. You mechanically seam them. A motorized roof runner machine drives along the rib, executing a precise 5-stage seaming sequence.
The Sequence: 180° -> 215° -> 270° -> 315° -> 360° double lock.
This creates the legendary pittsburgh double lock standing seam. A factory-applied butyl sealant is pre-installed inside the seam. When the 360-degree lock compresses, the sealant expands, creating a watertight monolithic steel shield.
2. Floating Roof Clip Thermal Expansion Mechanisms
The panels must slide. We utilize a two-piece floating clip system. The base fastens to the purlin. The top tab locks into the roof seam and slides back and forth along the base.

The Movement Limit: The clip allows exactly ±32 mm of movement (64 mm total slide).

The Pinning Rule: The roof must be rigidly pinned at ONE location only. You pin the panels rigidly ONLY at the low eave purlin using heavy-duty Scrubolts (097104). The entire roof expands upward toward the ridge. Pin it in two places, and the panel buckles.
